Chester See got everyone’s attention as a YouTube star. It seems the aspiring artist did not only catch the eye of the blogosphere, but a lot of music industry insiders must have become aware of him as well. No matter how it all happened, he is now about to star in a major show on Broadway!
The well-known singer has scored his first massive chance, as he will play Stacee Jaxx in Rock of Ages. The show will take place at the Helen Hayes Theater and is scheduled to open with the addition of See on October 27. He will be taking the stage all the way through the next three months, ending on January 4, 2015.
Rock of Ages is about a young man named Drew, who travels all the way to Los Angeles to pursue a rock career. The show includes covers of songs such as “Here I Go Again”, “Every Rose Has Its Thorn”, and “Don’t Stop Believin’”. The cast of the current version of the show consists of Constantine Maroulis (Drew), Carrie St. Louis (Sherrie), Genson Blimline (Lonny), Adam Dannheisser (Dennis), Cody Scott Lancaster (Franz), Josephine Rose Roberts (Regina), Paul Schoeffler (Hertz) and Teresa Stanley (Justice).
