Actor Cheyenne Jackson is set to divorce his husband of two years, physicist Monte Lapka.
A source told Us Weekly that the former 30 Rock and Glee actor mutually decided to part ways after they had been “living separate lives” for quite some time. The couple was together for 11 years before being wed in 2011 in a Hampton Beach ceremony.
A rep for Jackson had this to say: “Cheyenne Jackson and his husband Monte Lapka have mutually decided to divorce. The couple have been together for 13 years and were married in N.Y. State two years ago. It is an amicable parting and, understandably, a private matter.”
Huffington Post reports that Jackson has recently been seen with a new boyfriend on his arm, as well as some new ink.
The actor is best known for his roles on Broadway, as well as his memorable guest spots on 30 Rock and Glee. He was also recently seen in HBO’s Liberace biopic Behind the Candelabra.
