Chris Colfer isn’t done writing just yet. Fans and readers were told that The Land Of Stories: Worlds Collide was the last book in the series, however, news broke recently that Colfer has signed onto another book deal. This time the book deal is with Little Brown Books.

The Golden Globe award-winning actor and writer of books such as Struck By Lighting, Stranger Than Fanfiction, and the ever so popular The Land Of Stories series has struck a deal with Little Brown Books. The deal has Colfer returning to the series and will write an ultimate guide to The Land Of Stories. Along with the guide, Colfer will write two new novels in a brand new series. No information has been released as far as the direction Colfer will go with the new series.

The news of the book deal comes after the release of the news that Colfer will collaborate with Twentieth Century Fox and 21 Laps for the movie adaptation of The Land of Stories: The Wishing Spell. The movie adaptation will mark Colfer’s directorial debut alongside with adapting the book to the big screen. 

Colfer’s insider to The Land Of Stories will be released next fall, while his new book series is set to launch sometime in 2019.
