Thor star Chris Hemsworth will be using both brawn and brains to battle a global threat in the new Michael Mann action drama Blackhat.

Hemsworth stars as a convicted computer hacker who takes on a mission to combat a group of violent terrorists who infiltrate the world’s interconnected technology systems to unleash havoc across the planet.

We’ll have to see if Blackhat will live up to the award-winning Michael Mann’s prior track record of smarter, more intense and well-developed action films such as Heat and Collateral.
