Galaxy chocolate has released a new advertisement starring none other than prolific actress Audrey Hepburn.

The team at Galaxy created a CGI Audrey Hepburn to be the star of the ad, and it is getting some mixed reactions from people.

In the ad, Audrey is stuck on a bus somewhere along the Amalfi Coast in Italy (from what I know in my own personal experience, it looks like Capri) that is stopped behind a broken fruit cart when a man in a car pulls up beside the bus as Hepburn is about to eat her Galaxy Chocolate.

She then leave the bus, take the bus drivers hat and places it on the man’s head then proceeds to get into the backseat of his car and they drive away, and then she finally gets to enjoy her chocolate.

Since the video went viral the twitter-verse has made many comments both negative and positive.

People who are not in favour are saying that it is “disrespectful” and “creepy” to have the image of Hepburn appear in an ad, especially when we don’t know if she would have been in favour of it.

But Hepburn’s sons have spoken and they have both approved of the advertisement saying, “Our mother often spoke about her love of chocolate and how it lifted her spirit, so we’re sure she would have been proud of her role as the face of Galaxy.”

What are your thoughts on using actors posthumously in advertisements?
