Today, Coheed And Cambria released the strange and intense video for their latest single from The Unheavenly Creatures, “True Ugly.”

The video sees the band rocking out hard with concert footage and inclusion of fans throughout, with flashes of members in animal masks, adding a surreal and interesting contrast. The song itself is larger than life, with a heavy driving opening that continues throughout the song and gives way into a soaring chorus, commanding,

Oh, show me your true ugly,
The stranger you move, the sweeter you become,
Now show me the good you’ve done,
Show me the animal.
