This year’s San Diego Comic Con boasted an array of stars from the worlds of television and film, but never before have so many stars shared the stage like they did on Saturday evening (July 11) during the FOX panel.
Encouraged by the panel’s moderator, Chris Hardwick, the casts of Fantastic Four, Deadpool, X-Men: Apocalypse, Maze Runner: Scorch Trials and the Wolverine sequel grouped together as, moments after MARVEL legend Stan Lee made his way on stage hoping to take a snap but couldn’t find a camera, Magic Mike and Gambit star Channing Tatum emerged to save the day armed with a selfie stick.
The result was the biggest celebrity-packed selfie since Ellen DeGeneres had the likes of Jennifer Lawrence, Jared Leto and Bradley Cooper get together at the Oscars to all but break the internet.
Of course, the creation and posting of such an epic selfie presents those who will attend the Con promoting their movies and shows next year with one major question to answer – ‘How the hell do we top that?!’
