Courtesy of prizeo.comConnor Franta knows how to entertain fans on the YouTube scene, but now he knows how to entertain on the music scene as well. The YouTube sensation, who has over 4 million subscribers between his two channels, has recently released his first ever music compilation on iTunes.
The album, entitled Crown Vol. 1, features some of Franta’s favorite songs from up-and-coming artists. Some of the artists include Betty Who, Glass Animals, and Zella Day, just to name a few.
Franta uploaded a vlog explaining to fans the more about the album and why he decided to release a compilation. You can check out the video below:
When asked about Crown, Franta explained to Just Jared Jr:
“A crown signifies power, authority & prestige,” Franta stated. “These tracks are diamonds in the rough, jewels within the music industry and compiled under one royal compilation. I’ve always enjoyed finding undiscovered musical artists with a fresh, unique sound and this playlist is full of just that. As you listen to this compilation, it’s my hope that you find a few jewels to add to your own crown.”
He also tweeted out to fans:
Fans of Connor Franta have been nothing but supportive in the release of the album. Within the first couple of days of the album’s release, Franta’s fans have gotten the hashtag #BuyCrownOnItunes to trend worldwide, as well as getting the album to #12 on the iTunes Pop Charts.
