Connor Franta Announces New Campaign For The Thirst Project

YouTuber Connor Franta, joins forces with The Thirst Project for a new campaign to raise money for clean and fresh water for those in Africa Who need it.

The Thirst Project is an organization that helps over a billion people in Africa get access to clean and fresh water.  Their goal is to give an entire country clean water for the rest of their lives.

On Friday (September 12th), YouTuber Connor Franta announced that for his birthday this year he would like to raise money and awareness for The Thirst Project. Franta stated that this is something he has been working on for months but has wanted to do for years. He is very excited to be working with a great organization.

In his announcement video, he talks more about the organization and what donating could do for people in Africa. He hopes to reach his goal of $120,000 by the end of the campaign, which ends October 12th.  Franta states, “By donating 25 dollars you give one person clean drinking water for their entire life”. By donating you would be changing lives.
