It sounds like Friday Night Lights may be joining the ranks of Veronica Mars of awesome cult shows getting funding for a movie via Kickstarter.
Adrienne Palicki has hinted at the possibility of this happening. “I think they’re starting the Kickstarter, which is insane … I have multiple feelings on it. I love it so much and I’m afraid that a movie might ruin it and I don’t want that to happen,” Palicki said in an interview with ScreenRant.
Friday Night Lights ended its run in 2010 after five seasons between NBC and DirecTV. The show is about lives and trials of a high school football team in Texas led by their Coach (Kyle Chandler).
Sounds like Veronica Mars has started a trend that cannot be stopped!
