Crossing I’s Dotting T’s Present “Regret Stained Memories”

“It’s our anthem to continue to do the things we want to do and not listen to other ‘traditional’ people…”

Self-proclaimed “emotive-alternative rock,” Crossing I’s Dotting T’s are a raw, original force that blend different rock genres such as alternative, punk and emo, creating hard-hitting yet catchy songs with big choruses intended to evoke emotion, and today, PopWrapped are delighted to premiere their latest single “Regret Stained Memories.”

The song – taken from their self-titled EP that drops on Friday – features gritty vocals that intersect with driving instrumentals, accompanied by lyrics about looking back on a life well – or not so well – lived. It’s a track that manages to bring the best of the 1990’s punk scene and breathe new life into it, carving out a home for it in the modern age.

Asked about the story to/inspiration behind it, the band share:’Regret Stained Memories’ is a song about not wanting to grow old and look back on life and regret doing things or regret not doing things like a lot of people do. It’s our anthem to continue to do the things we want to do and not listen to other ‘traditional’ people, or not to pay attention to social media and the fake attitudes and personalities that it creates. We live in such a new world, with “norms” changing ever-yday, and we are just trying to continue to do what we love.”
