Larry David has said he is unsure if Curb Your Enthusiasm will be returning for a ninth season, when he was speaking with reporters at the TCA press tour.
He also said that he would have a better idea about the show’s future in the coming months. “I have not (decided). I don’t know. I really don’t know,” TV Guide quotes David as saying. “I couldn’t say. Ask me in six months”. David continued by saying,” I’m just an indecisive fellow. You should see me at restaurants. It’s a big decision to decide to do a season of that show. I don’t take it lightly.”
The actor also said that he considered working on a new Curb Your Enthusiasm season a year ago, but decided to partner with HBO on the upcoming television move Clear History with Mad Men’s Jon Hamm. “I was thinking about Curb or thinking about doing a movie and I thought, you know, perhaps it’s time I try something else, I so decided to do the movie”, he said, speaking about Clear History.
Clear History premieres on August 10th at 9pm ET on HBO and also stars Kate Hudson, Michael Keaton, Eve Mendes and Danny McBride.
