Always one for the cryptic tweets to tease fans and leave them guessing, a few days ago Curt Mega tweeted “I can officially say that I officially have big news that will officially come out later on today which is not now but soon… yayyyy. ;)” The following day the ‘big news’ was revealed… Curt Mega is officially going on tour with Joe Moses!
Three weeks ago PopWrapped broke the news that former Dalton Academy Warbler and star of Buffering, Curt Mega, would be joining Joe Moses on his upcoming summer tour. Exact details were unknown at the time, but yesterday JoMo posted a video to
YouTube
that gave us all the information we could ask for!
The Joe Moses One Man Showses, or JMOMS as it is affectionately known, has been renamed the Joe Moses Showses, now that the all it’s not just a one-man event. The new show, which has been created especially for this tour, will be a combination of original sketch comedies, improv, lots of singing, lots of dancing, and as Joe himself says, “parodies of yours and mine favourite fandoms.”
Joining the show alongside Moses and Mega will be everyone’s favourite starfish, Tessa Netting (Billy Elliot), but as can be seen in the video (and much to the disappointment of Tessa) Nick Jonas will not be joining the cast. However, that doesn’t mean that there won’t be any special guests along the way! Joe states that the cast might change from city to city as he tries to bring as many guests into the mix as possible.
Being billed as the sharpest, silliest, most musical and interactive JMOMS ever, fans will also have the opportunity to meet the cast. VIP tickets will include a meet and greet, which begins one hour prior to the show’s scheduled start time.
