this summer

 thanks to The CW.

And that isn’t even the BEST part. Wayne Brady, Ryan Stiles & Colin Mochrie have also signed on to be part of the permanent cast of improv performers with Aisha Tyler set to host. The forth improv performer spot will be filled with guest comedians each week. With talent like Robin Williams, Stephen Colbert, Whoopi Goldberg & Kathy Griffin featured in the past there is no telling who they could round up for the show this time around!

The news of the triumphant return of Whose Line Is It Anyway? was broke the best way, in 140 characters or less (aka Twitter) by Colin Mochrie himself:

The only sad part of this news is that former host and butt of many jokes, Drew Carey (now host of The Price Is Right) will have no involvement in the show.We also don’t know if any of our favourite sketches from the past (Infomercial, Scenes From A Hat, Hoedown, Greatest Hits) are in the cards for the reboot but my money is on YES if they have the key members of the original cast back!!

So there we have it. Are YOU as excited as I am that Whose Line is coming back this summer? Who do you want to see as guest improv performer?
