Our first look at the new Daniel Radcliffe film, The F Word, has been debuted courtesy of The Daily Mail. The photo is of Daniel and co-star, Zoe Kazan, sitting at a table in a restaurant which looks very reminiscent to that of the famous scene between Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal in When Harry Met Sally. This could be on purpose or perhaps they are just enjoying a meal. You be the judge!
The movie is a romantic comedy following Wallace (Daniel Radcliffe) who is a guy that has fallen for his friend Chantry (Zoe Kazan). Chantry turns out to be unavailable though, so throughout the movie we will be seeing some ups and downs from Wallace as he tries to move on from her.
In the article with The Daily Mail, Radcliffe talks about how this role is different from any of the other roles that he’s every played. “It’s really exciting and a huge amount of fun to do a rom-com. There’s not really scenes in this where my character is wrought, or devastated, or going through mourning, or anything like that. Although it’s not all straight forwards and there are ups and downs in it, it’s generally a much happier film than anything else I have done.”
Even though it hurts a little knowing that I won’t get to hear him scream “Expecto patronum!”, it’s definitely nice to see Daniel going out and continuing to grow his career!
The F Word will premiere at the Toronto Film Festival this year and is set to hit theaters in 2014.
