He won our hearts as “The Boy Who Lived” in the Harry Potter franchise, but his magic hasn’t stopped just because the films have. Daniel Radcliffe is currently in final negotiations to play Igor in the Max Landis version of Frankenstein.
The film, written by Landis, is creating the story from the perspective of Igor, instead of Dr. Frankenstein. Though it does focus on the strange friendship between the pair.
Shawn Levy (Night at the Museum, Reel Steel) has signed on as director for the project. If Radcliffe does ink the deal for the role, he will be the first cast member chosen for the 20th Century Fox film.
Filming is said to be starting in late fall, when Radcliffe would finish his current stage production of The Cripple of Inishmaan.
Are you excited for Daniel to play such a unique role?
