What is better than two of your favorite things in the whole world crashing together in a moment of epic greatness? That’s right, NOTHING!
This rule holds true in the brilliant video below; wherein Darren Criss and Lea Salonga show up at a Manhattan gay piano bar called Marie’s Crisis and blow the minds of all of the patrons. If you’re not familiar with Lea Salonga, you may be pleasantly surprised to know that she voiced this Disney Princess in 1992:
Photo courtesy of princess.disney.comThat’s right folks; Salonga voiced the singing portions of the feisty, independent Arabian princess, Jasmine in Disney’s Aladdin (Aladdin and Jasmine just so happen to by my favorite Disney movie and princess!).
She and Darren take to the piano for a beautiful performance of the famous song, “A Whole New World.” My only complaint? Not enough Darren! But Lea’s voice is still gorgeous and the whole performance really is magical.
