David Archuleta Returns with “OK, All Right”

Though he initially won over our hearts on American Idol MANY years ago, David Archuleta is finally back with a new single, “OK, All Right” winning us all over again. As he should.

The track is David’s first release of 2020, and is an introduction to his forthcoming album which is due out later this year. You may also recognize a familiar face in the official video for the track. Glee star Kevin McHale appears in the video. Not only does he appear in the video, but he also c0-directed the video with Justin Thorne, an up and coming director.

Though times aren’t very great right now because of the Coronavirus Pandemic, this is a track that can really take your mind off of the chaos, let loose, and have fun.. but at the same time, has a beautiful message behind it that you can relate and connect to. Not to mention the production, lyrics, and everything else is insanely catchy.

“I wrote it to remind myself when life is overwhelming and stressful to not look at things in a doom gloom way but that things will be fine and work out.” David tells his fans. “I didn’t know we’d all be going through all of this at the time! But I feel it’s perfect timing to get this song out.”

At just 16 years old, he was becoming a household name all amazing millions of viewers on American Idol. Additionally, he brought in over 44 million votes — making him runner up on season 7. Pretty impressive to be just 16 years old at the time. It wasn’t long after he released “Crush” which sold over 166,000 in just the first week. Additionally, it landed in at number 2 on Billboard HOT 100.

Though he hasn’t had a release since 2017 when he released “Postcards In The Sky”, David Archuleta is sure to be back on your radar with his latest, “OK, All Right”. David is also set to release a new album (which we can’t wait for), later this year. Let’s just say, if this is what the album will be serving us, we are absolutely going to be obsessed. For now, we’ll be keeping this one on repeat all Corona Quarantine long.

David Archuleta’s “OK, All Right” is available on all of your favorite platforms, now!
