Dawson’s Creek Cast Reunites For Show’s 20th Anniversary

The cast of Dawson’s Creek have reunited once again on the show’s 20th Anniversary in a fun photo shoot! Meanwhile Kerr Smith offers a reboot idea.

After 20 years since the show premiered the cast of hit television series Dawson's Creek have reunited for a fun photo shoot for Entertainment Weekly! James Van Der Beek (Dawson Leery), Katie Holmes (Joey Potter), Joshua Jackson (Pacey Witter) and Michelle Williams (Jen Lindley)  were all smiles as they got together on a set that echoes the iconic dock of the show.

Each of the star also got their own cover photo. For the group set they were joined by supporting cast members Kerr Smith,Meredith Monroe, Busy Phillips and Mary Beth Peil.

'I think we've all sort of seen each other over the years, but not everybody all together,' Holmes said. 'And never for long enough.'

"I run into James and Josh, Katie, Michelle, and I just get a big smile on my face. It's just a very, very special time in my life."Dawson's Creek creator Kevin Williamson  added.

And while we may not be getting a sequel anytime soon, because Michille William's Jen died in the last episode and it wouldn't be right to continue without one of the core characters.  However Williamson did say what he envisoned the kind of lives the other characters would be leading today.

Meanwhile Kerr Smith who played breathrough gay character Jack did offer a solution to bring Michelle back. “You can play your child that we’re raising, that’s now grown up. So you’re in,”Smith told Williams during an interview round with Entertainment Weekly.

Now if you remember the show's finale, Jack with his partner Doug (Dylan Neal) adopted Jen's daughter after she died. But still as ageless as Michelle is, it would be a stretch for her to play a teenager again.

Still it is an intriguing concept, or how about we get a spin-off with Jen's daughter played by a new actress, Amy's Creek? And while we never did find out who the father of Jen's child is we could also bring back the most likely candidate, CJ Braxton played by Supernatural's Jensen Ackles to guest star. What do you think?
