We were introduced to Aquaman in DCs 'Justice League', but on December 21st we’ll get his story through his solo film. The film’s first trailer was released at SDCC featuring Jason Momoa’s Aquaman aka Arthur Curry. Joining Momoa for Aquaman are Nicole Kidman (Queen Atlanna), Patrick Wilson (Ocean Master), Amber Heard (Mera), and Kaan Guldur (a young Arthur). The trailer features sharks, action, and some one liners which he became known and loved for in Justice League.
It’s brother vs brother for this showdown. Arthur Curry displays issues with an identity crisis because his mother is a Queen in the depths of the ocean, but his father was a mortal lighthouse keeper. He has more then just brother issues to deal with as we grow closer to the film’s release date. The internet is hyped after seeing what could be one of DC’s most promising films to date. Take a look!

Aquaman is black panther mixed with Thor. If you can't beat them, join them. #Aquaman#Dcvsmarvelhttps://t.co/jtrn97N2cB

Seems like everybody is excited to go beneath the sea for Aquaman, and can we just say that we want to know how to saddle a great white shark for riding, that is awesome! Some still complain that DC is too dark while others claim they are copying Marvel when the films aren’t dark, but we think that between Wonder Woman and Aquaman they are doing something right. Shout us out, on social media, with your thoughts on this trailer and all the SDCC news we’ve learned.
