DC Teamup TV Series Sets Its Sights On Being Different From The Rest

Producer Andrew Kreisberg has offered some insight into DC’s newest installment, a teamup television series featuring some comic favorites.

A couple of weeks ago, news broke out that The CW’s latest superhero conquest will feature The Atom, Black Canary, Captain Cold and Firestorm. The show will also introduce three new DC heroes, who have never been shown or depicted on television. Other than these details, fans don’t know much about this kick-ass project. Thankfully, producer Andrew Kreisberg was able to shed a shred of light on the project.

“We want to keep some surprises going, but we’re really excited about that series…just to add another leg to the tripod, and complete it,” Kreisberg adds, “We’ll get to see some of the characters that we’ve seen and introduce a whole bunch of new characters, and show them all in a different way, and have the show really feel different. As different as Flash feels from Arrow, this new show will feel different from both of them.”

So he technically didn’t give many details at all but, hey! Now we know the show will be different from The Flash and Arrow. That’s a twist I’m highly excited for. The show is bound to be different especially when a main character, Black Canary, is supposed to be dead. Last we saw Sara Lance, she was shot with arrows and tossed off a building. Does that scream alive to you? But then again, in the superhero world anything is possible.

Are you super  excited for this new show? Or are you over the whole superhero obsession the world now seems to have? Let us know in the comments below!
