Denis O’Hare Checks Into American Horror Story: Hotel

American Horror Story: Hotel creator Ryan Murphy has announced that actor Denis O’Hare will be joining the already star-studded cast.

Though American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy has been a bit scarce with the details of the upcoming season of the show, he recently revealed the addition of a new cast member, Denis O’Hare.

Murphy has already assembled much of the cast, including Sarah Paulson, Angela Bassett, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Chloe Sevigny, Finn Wittrock, Cheyenne Jackson, Matt Bomer, Max Greenfield, and Lady Gaga.

Though this is certainly a star-studded cast, one name that is noticeably missing is Jessica Lange. Murphy is not giving up hope, however:

“Well, all I can say about that, never say never with Jessica. I think if I came up with something extraordinary for her, if I could come up with a great character, she’s all about that, and she’s told me that, if you have something great after I sort of get my rest, then let’s keep talking, so I’ll do that.”

With Lange missing, Hotel will likely rely on the talents of Paulson and Peters, who have both been with the series since the beginning. Murphy has stated that Paulson and Peters will be “absolute evil villains” in the upcoming season of the series and that Lady Gaga’s role is “bananas good,” and will not include singing.
