The youngest Duggar to ever get married, Joy-Anna Duggar, at just 19 years old, wed Austin Forsyth in May 2017.
Her shotgun wedding surprised fans of the religious clan. After all, she planned to recite her vows in October, so why would she marry five months beforehand? The questionable move made even the most devoted followers curious. They started to doubt the self-proclaimed purity of the young couple. Maybe Duggar and Forsyth did much more than side-hugs and hand-holding?
Just 90 days after their summer nuptials, the duo announced their pregnancy. “Three months later, she announced that she was three months pregnant. According to the Duggars, Joy-Anna conceived on her honeymoon, but some fans aren’t buying into that version of events. Perhaps it was the fact that she was already sporting quite a sizeable baby bump in her announcement photo. Or maybe it has something to do with the time Joy and Austin confessed to breaking courtship rules,” an article states.
They accidentally broke a rule when Duggar helped her man outside. As she sawed wood, he placed his hand on top of hers. Even though his affectionate touch seemed innocent enough, their families frown upon anything that could lead to desire. Their strict rules probably drove them to premarital sex. Who could blame the couple, though? They’re young and in love. Forsyth even showed his undying devotion to his wife on their Instagram page. By posting a beautiful photo of Duggar, he captioned, “From being my spiritual encourager, working partner, hunting buddy, and everything in between you complete me in so many ways! I am always amazed at how much integrity and character you display in our day to day lives! I love you with all my heart!”
Whether they saved themselves for marriage or not, nobody can deny their love. They’re a beautiful couple!
