Pixar fans rejoice! While Toy Story won’t be back for a fourth movie, the gang will return, this time to the small screen.
ABC is set to air a 30-minute, short film, Toy Story of Terror in October. All the major actors will reprise their roles. Supporting actors Don Rickles (Mr. Potato Head), Wallace Shawn (Rex), and Joan Cusack (Jessie) will have larger roles this go around.
The movie follows the toys on a road trip gone wrong while going to see new-owner, Bonnie’s grandma. Characters from the last film, Mr. Prickepants and Trixie will be returning, as well as Combat Carl who was blown up by Sid in the first film.
Like most Pixar films, it’s not too scary so that the kids can’t watch, but there are some jokes that only adults will get.
