When the Christmas Special of Doctor Who airs this year, there will be some changes to the opening. So now, not only will we have a New TARIS, but also a new introduction to our favorite show. BBC has stated that it will be “wonderfully dramatic and striking, with a couple of unexpected touches. In short, they’re a perfect way to welcome back the Doctor!”
They have also said the show’s tune will hold true to the original 1963 version written by Ron Grainer, but will be heard like it has never sounded before.
To hear the new tune and see the new TARDIS, make sure to tune in (heh heh) to BBC on Christmas Day!
