Ever wonder why Sherlock and Star Trek Into Darkness star Benedict Cumberbatch doesn’t have a Twitter? The witty and clever actor seems like the perfect candidate for a Twitter account with all his funny one-liners in interviews.
Unfortunately, the actor will not be joining Twitter any time soon. Why? Because apparently the 36-year-old thinks he rambles too much, reports NowMagazine.
Benny, has that ever stopped anyone from creating a Twitter account? You would not be alone.
The British actor told NowMagazine that he thinks he would “‘suffer from verbal diarrhea,” and that, ‘The four-line phrase is not one of my tools of choice!”
On top of his tendency to ramble, the actor claims to be too busy for social networking, and that he doesn’t feel comfortable having someone monitor a Twitter for him.
"I’d be too worried about getting it right and I certainly wouldn’t want to farm it out for someone else to write,” Cumberbatch said.
There are so many people who shouldn’t be allowed to tweet, but Cumberbatch is not one of them. Hopefully he will cave so that all those “Cumberbitches” out there can retweet and favourite his 140 characters of perfection.
Personally, though, I just want Instagram pictures of Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman on the set of The Hobbit and Sherlock.
