Pop singer Ke$ha entered rehab a little over a month ago for an eating disorder allegedly linked to comments made by music producer Dr. Luke. He apparently ridiculed the star for her weight, even comparing her to a refrigerator. Soon after, fans of Ke$ha began issuing threats against the producer’s life and some went as far as to release his address and phone numbers over social media.
TMZ reported information from LAPD’s Threat Management Unit documents that requested a search warrant to investigate the identities of those issuing the threats to Dr. Luke.
The following are some of the threats that were made via Twitter which were included in the warrants;
-“I’m gonna slit your f****** throat open then gouge your eyeballs out.”
-“You need to be worried because IMA slit your throat before January is over.”
-“Im gonna gut you like a fish then skin you and glue ur wrinkly raisin skin to a fridge!”
-You ugly fat a** bum b****. Im gonna carve u like a pumpkin with a long sharp knife.”
Ke$ha reportedly entered a 30 day program for an eating disorder and has extended her stay, resulting in the singer cancelling legs of her upcoming tour.
Regardless of someone’s harsh critiques or ignorant behavior, no one deserves to be treated with such hostility. Threats against one’s life should NEVER be tolerated.
