The modern R&B record showcases a new side of Bernard’s writing ability and vocal prowess as he displays a rhythmic cadence on the verses followed by his signature sultry tone in the chorus, each time building with ad-libs and harmonies.

Bernard shares; “Let It Be Known’ is all about facing your inner demons. Especially during these COVID times when the world feels a little less social, it’s easy to sit back and feel like everyone around you is doing so much more than you are, or that you aren’t working hard enough...”

“…The truth is, we are all doing the best we can, and we need to remember that, especially when it comes to our own selves. I woke up one day and had that realization. I went to my notes app and just started writing this letter to myself that was meant to motivate me and this song was born. I hope others can find motivation in this song, or even just peace in knowing that they are not alone in how they feel.”

Let It Be Known is the second single off Bernard’s forthcoming EP, “Writer’s Block“, and the follow-up to the title track of the EP.
