Ed Sheeran Celebrates SBTV’s Anniversary With New Track ‘Eraser’

To help celebrate SBTV’s 10th anniversary, Ed Sheeran performs an acoustic version of his song ‘Eraser’, off his upcoming album, ÷.

What better way to start the day than with a new Ed Sheeran track for SBTV?

The Suffolk native turned multi-platinum selling artist joined forces with his old friends at SBTV to celebrate ten years since their first video, by releasing an acoustic rendition of his new song ‘Eraser’ off of his much anticipated new album, ÷.

In the song, which is more rap than singing, Sheeran discusses his struggles growing up and becoming the man- and the artist- he is today. He speaks about his relationship struggles and industry temptations such as drugs and alcohol, with many lines dedicated to his father.

According to Sheeran, this celebration also coincides with his own SBTV anniversary. Just seven years ago, the ginger artist released an acoustic version of his early song, “You Need Me, I Don’t Need You,” a video which served as launching pad for the rest of Sheeran’s career.

SBTV, which stands for “Share. Build. Teach. Vibes.”, prides itself on being the one of the leading youth broadcasters in the UK, though its focus is primarily the music scene. To celebrate 10 years of life, the company will release 10 exclusives from various artists, with Sheeran kicking off the party, as stated in a tweet early this morning in which SBTV shared a short clip of Sheeran’s performance.
