Dear fellow Whovians: This is an hour of rejoicing! With all the speculation surrounding the 50th anniversary episode, and who will or won’t be a part of it, there has finally been confirmation that the script features ALL 11 DOCTORS!! According to Wired, Steven Moffat confirmed today that the script he is finishing is one in which our current Doctor, Matt Smith, is in a situation where he needs the help of ALL the preceding Doctors!

The studio has received confirmation from all the actors that are still living that have played the Doctor. For Whovians, I am sure you know all the names, but just in case, they are as follows:  Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGann, Christopher Eccleston, David Tennant, and Matt Smith. As for William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton, and Jon Pertwee, since they are no longer with us, the studio will be using special effects to insert these three Doctors into some flashback scenes during the episode.

Steven Moffat, when asked about the anniversary episode, stated “You can’t please everybody but you don’t want anybody to feel let down by a big anniversary episode.” Well, in this Whovian’s opinion: So far, so good, Mr. Moffat.
