While it has been several weeks since the death of Robin Williams, there is still support being shared and condolences spoken. He was a great man and a great comedian who deserves respect, our admiration, and love. The latest tribute comes from none other than talk show host, Ellen DeGeneres.

During a recent episode of the comedian’s program, she aired a special in memoriam. Moments from William’s visits to her set were the focus of this homage. Twangs of Coldplay song orchestrated the moving moments.

Of the moments featured in the video, were there any that stood out to you? Personally, I was charmed by his impersonations of various Chicago accents – I remember seeing that episode when it first aired – as well as his story of walking his cat and pug.

Williams left a great mark on this world. To many he was a light in the darkness. Through his comedies, he brought laughter into homes around the world. However, Williams also could touch souls and bring tears with his moving, dramatic performances in movies such as Good Will Hunting, Patch Adams, and my particular favorite, Dead Poets Society. This comedian and actor will be missed, but he will not be forgotten.
