Over the course of the Stitchers Season 3, we have seen Kirsten and Cameron go through some ups and downs in their personal lives and in their relationship with one another. With the betrayal of Cameron weighing on Kirsten, their relationship has been severed, and we don’t know if they will be able to be put back together. When sitting down with Emma Ishta and Kyle Harris at San Diego Comic-Con, they had a lot to say on what is to come as we reach the conclusion of Season 3.
First off, they discussed how in the episode named “Just the Two of Us”, when everyone in the stitch lab disappears, how they were forced to come together and work out what is going on in between themselves and with what is going on in the case. When Emma was asked about what is it going to take to get Camsten back together, she said, “I think it is going to take Cameron figuring out his priorities… Seeing that he is on her team and not Maggie’s.”
Kirsten is on a mission to figure out how to get her mother back physically and psychologically and it all comes down to the success of the stitch lab. Kyle discussed how his new promotion in the stitch lab will help Cameron to come to Kirsten’s aid. “Eventually he comes to a head with Maggie where he is like look, you can look me in the eye boss to boss. What is the purpose of this program? And she eventually kind of lets him in on that because he eventually comes to her and says, “I’m not doing this if you don’t tell me.” And so, then there is a mutual respect between Cameron, Kirsten and Maggie. Because without all of us there is no [program].” We are all hoping this is exactly what Kirsten needs to fix this couple.
They also teased that it was fun to film the last couple of episodes because they have left clues throughout that will tell you about the “end game”. Kyle says, “If you are paying attention you will notice, and if not there are those episodes that your going to want to go back and be like now that you know the end game, you’re like ‘Oh my gosh, that makes so much sense’.”
We cannot wait to see how this season plays out and what is in store for the stitcher’s lab. We could even be seeing a musical episode in the distant future… Catch Stitchers on Freeform, Mondays at 9 pm.
