Our little Hermione has really grown upright before our very eyes, blossoming into an amazing woman.

Kenneth Branagh (Much Ado About Nothing) is set to do a remake of the classic fairy tale, and it is reported that the ‘Perks Of Being A Wallflower’ star is currently in advanced talks to star as the princess herself. Watson is said to be considered the “hot” favorite choice for this role and we here at PopWrapped couldn’t be more thrilled for the Harry Potter star.

Imogen Poots (Can’t help but laugh everytime I read her name, LOL!) is also in talks to be our little Cinder girl, as once said by Angelicia Houston in ‘Ever After’. At this stage of the game, no real choice has been made. As always, we will keep you updated as the story progresses.

Now, whoever lands the role will be starring opposite of ‘The Lord Of The Rings’ alum Cate Blanchchett, as she will be playing the Evil Step-mother. Now, that’s a prefect choice for that role! The script has been written by Chris Weitz and Aline Brosh Mckenna.

Cinderella would truly make a wonderful return to the cinema for Watson, who herself has been experimenting with some less than obvious blockbuster fare since her Harry Potter days. It’s my belief that we have, in fact, the TRUE owner of that fated glass slipper and it couldn’t possibly belong to anyone else.

Branagh is doing everything in his power to tempt this young actress back to our theaters with this remake. All the fans can do is wait and see, while keeping our fingers and toes crossed that she chooses to get on board with the project.
