Once Upon A Time’s season three casting ensemble continues to grow!
Both TVLine and Entertainment Weekly have reported that the ABC fantasy drama has cast its Tinker Bell!
New Zealand actress Rose McIver will play the iconic pixie for a multiple episode-arc throughout the third season.
According to Once co-creators Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis, their version of Tinker Bell will have a surprising connection to one of its main cast members minus Captain Hook (Colin O’Donoghue).
This is not McIver’s first time in the fantasy genre as she had roles on several Hercules TV films, The Lovely Bones and portrayed Summer Landsdown, the Yellow Ranger on Power Rangers R.P.M.
As fans anticipate Once’s third season, ABC has not released the names of the actors who are playing two of the third season’s most crucial characters: Ariel, who appeared in a trailer at this year’s San Diego Comic Con, and this season’s big bad: Peter Pan.
Once Upon A Time’s third season is slated to start in late September.
