Driving lanes, walk ways, bike lanes and … duck lanes?

For the waterside walkways in England and Wales, there’s gonna be more feathers in their every day traffic in London, Birmingham and Manchester with the creation of lanes exclusively for ducks.

The lanes are sectioned off by a thin white line that run parallel to the main route. The lanes are painted with #SharetheSpace and a silhouette of a duck as well.

The temporary plan is a part of the Canal & River Trust’s “Share the Space, Drop your Pace” campaign which aims to increase awareness for all walks in life, people and animals included, who use narrow pathways.
