After many delays, it’s finally happening! “Entourage” creator Doug Ellin has long since completed the script and is set to direct the film, which Warner Bros has given the green light to. All cast members are currently in talks to return, even the former crew for the show is hoping to return as well.
“Entourage” ran for 8 seasons, until coming to a close in September of 2011. Adrian Grenier starred as Vincent Chase, an on the rise movie star, with Kevin Connolly playing as his manager Eric, and let’s not forget the amazing Jermey Piven as his very memorable agent. It also starred Jerry Ferrara as his close friend Turtle and Kevin Dillon as his struggling actor brother Johnny Drama.
The series finale did leave some room for a follow up, since Ari was offered the chance to become chairman and CEO of a movie studio. The finale left viewers wondering if Ari would head back to LA to build the empire that he always dreamed of. Although there are no major details as of yet, the film appears to be on it’s way.
