As if this election was not bizarre enough. Eric Trump, the son of billionaire and Republican Presidential standard bearer, Donald Trump is getting trolled on the internet for apparently using a free plastic cup to drink lemonade.

Things started out innocently enough. Following the final debate last Wednesday night, Eric and his family just wanted to hang out and have some burgers. So they proceeded to go to the nearby In-N-Out.

His wife Lara posted a snap on Instagram holding a large white plastic cup and captioning it: “How do you celebrate after a big @realdonaldtrump win?! #InNOut #teamtrump”

But it is not this picture that got a lot of attention. Another snap was taken wherein Eric is posing with another customer by the name of Grant.

Grant’s friend, David Winkelman, who uses the twitter handle Kush Vonnegut, then shared the picture on the social media site on Thursday. He captioned it by saying: “this is a photo of my homey grant with trumps kid at in-n-out & trumps kid is drinking lemonade outta the free water cup…”

The clear plastic cup is, of course, used only for free water. His wife Lara had a large white plastic cup that we assume may hold lemonade, and he probably just took from that.

People seem to find the idea of a billionaire’s son getting a free drink instead of buying his own beverage kind of amusing. The picture so far has been retweeted 16,000 times.

One Twitter user, Elise Hu, even tweeted out: “I’m sorry but for some reason I find ordering water but then getting lemonade the lowest of the low.”

Winkelman told Buzzfeed that he “posted it because it’s funny to me and seemed harmless.” He, then, added, “but at this point in the campaign trail, being well aware of our actions as Americans and children of a presidential candidate is becoming more important than ever.”

He also feels that the photo “encapsulates this election.”
