Erin Brokovich-Ellis has caused quite a stir before being arrested after an alleged DUI behind the wheel of a boat.
The boating crime report was released Tuesday and stated that a marina employee was lead to an argument that was taking place on a parked boat. The employee report that “both individuals appeared to have been drinking heavily during the day.”
The witness stated that he saw a woman, identified as Brockovich-Ellis, throw a cell-phone into the lake and then approached her husband. It had appeared that she had slapped him.
The Clark County District Attorney’s Office filed a criminal complaint against Brockovich-Ellis with a misdemeanor for operating a boat while intoxicated.
Brockovich-Ellis is well-known for constructing a case against the Pacific Gas and Electric Co. She was also portrayed by Julia Roberts in the film titled Erin Brockovich.
