‘Reinvented:’ TV Producer Jennifer Eckhart Returns with New Podcast Series

On Monday, national TV journalist, on-air personality, and producer Jennifer Eckhart announced the launch of “Reinvented with Jennifer Eckhart,” a new podcast series focused on sharing awe-inspiring stories and tales of reinvention from some of the world’s brightest and most thought-provoking public figures who overcame incredible obstacles on the path to success.

Eckhart, 31, is a former producer at Fox Business Network, who left the network after seven years in June 2020 after suing both the network and ex-Fox News anchor Ed Henry on grounds of raping her. “My leaving Fox has given me a unique opportunity to transition to do something unique and interesting – the ‘Reinvention’ podcast,” she said in an exclusive interview with Variety.

The first episode of the podcast debuts on August 23, featuring Grammy award-winning artist Sean Paul. The new podcast series interviews public figures, celebrities, CEOs, athletes, business leaders, and disruptors from all walks of life who share one thing in common: they threw out “The Rule Book.” Some achieved success with ease from the start, while others overcame incredible obstacles, oftentimes taking many career detours in life, while navigating uncharted territory.

“Reinventing oneself, whether personally or professionally, is something so many of us can relate to,” Eckhart told PopWrapped. “Whether you’re ringing the bell at the New York Stock Exchange, or the ‘cancer-free’ bell, my hope is that this show will inspire anyone who wants to reinvent themselves, to take that first step. It is never too late in life to adjust your sails to reach your destination.

The series will go on to feature in-depth interviews with supermodel-entrepreneur Kathy Ireland, author and addiction-recovery advocate Brian Cuban, TV host Melissa Rivers, and Gretchen Carlson, the former Fox News anchor who famously sued Fox News chairman Roger Ailes for sexual harassment.

“People often say you don’t need to reinvent the wheel, but I’ve found that reinvention is the key to living a truly authentic and fulfilling life,” Eckhart said. “After listening to these remarkable stories and laugh-out-loud conversations, our audience will walk away from each episode with invaluable advice that can help them navigate their own personal journeys of self-discovery and reinvention.”

The trailer for REINVENTED with Jen Eckhart is available today on Apple and Spotify. To subscribe and listen to the podcast, you can visit any of today’s major streaming  platforms including Spotify, Apple iTunes, YouTube, Google Play and Stitcher.
