Exclusive: Dirty Revival Premiere The Video For “Lay Me Down”

With a growing fan-base and their debut album out now, PopWrapped are thrilled to premiere the video for Dirty Revival’s latest track “Lay Me Down.”

Formed in 2013, Dirty Revival have spent years perfecting and honing their craft, determined to create a sound and style that is uniquely their own.

The group, vocalist Sarah Clarke, guitarist and MC Evan ‘evv’n’flo’ Simko, drummer Terry Drysdale, keys player Karl Ludwigsen, bassist Jon Shaw, tenor sax player Chris Hardin and Jon Clay on trumpet, deliver songs you can’t help but want to dance to, all the while voicing strong statements on issues from racial tensions to drug addiction — One Direction they most certainly are not.

As their popularity continues to soar, largely thanks to their impressive live shows, PopWrapped are delighted to premiere Dirty Revival’s video for their new single entitled “Lay Me Down.”

The track, with is soul-laden rhythm, makes a refreshing chance from the cheesy pop ditties dominating the charts, and, with a video focused on a young mom struggling to make ends meet, it’s a timely reminder of the difficulties so many of us are going through thanks to an uncertain and sometimes severely unstable economy.

Check out the video for “Lay Me Down” below, and, for more information on Dirty Revival, visit their website, give their page a like on Facebook, or follow them on Twitter and Instagram. The bands’ debut album is available on iTunes.
