Welcome back to the third instalment of New Music Monday. Where we give PopWrapped readers the first listen to exclusive singles from up and coming artists.
We are continuing our New Music Monday journey with another single from Justin Alexander. This week we slow it down with our first acoustic single of the series.
This week’s exclusive single is entitled, “Nobody Like Me” PopWrapped asked Alexander about the acoustic song and this is what he told us:
The Acoustic version of Nobody like me came about as I was practicing it for a live stripped down show. Me and my guitarist were freestyling and playing around with different tempos of it that it took a life of its own. All the positive feedback from the acoustic version we were playing, I decided to record it and soon after decided it should be on the album.
Well Justin, the variety of tempos truly worked for this song.

I really enjoyed how raw this single is. The vocals of Alexander and the guitar playing of his guitarist really make this song more enjoyable. You can tell the definite story of the song as it is sung with such emotion between his vocals and the guitar.
The various tempos between Alexander and his guitarist really did work for this song and I was very impressed. I can only imagine what this song would sound like if they recorded it in the studio adding different instruments to the mix.
