Move over, OutKast: Keith More-Fire is about to make a move.
South Carolina-based rapper and vocalist Keith More-Fire has released his first single, entitled "Sugar", off his Sophomore EP Six 20. More-Fire says the song highlights the comparability of women to sugar. Both are pleasant and delightful, leaving you wanting more. 'Sweet like sugar' is one of many ways to describe the essence that is woman.
The track is inspired by the classic song "Hey Ya" by OutKast and has been highly influenced by the movie Grease. The song evokes nostalgia for those tunes of the swing dance era. Keith More-Fire says, "This song is meant to make you move. It's pure fun and joy!"
More-Fire's debut project, entitled Far From Home, told the story of a teenager dealing with everyday life challenges. Far From Home gained attention from outlets all across the globe, including Flavourmag and Coast to Coast Mixtapes.
His sophomore album, Six 20, showcases six songs he has created all at the age of 20 and highlights his strong musical abilities.
Listen to the track for yourself, and let us know what you think!
I love this song! The track, itself, is so upbeat and just makes me want to get up and dance. I can clearly hear the hints of OutKast's influence in the song that makes it what it is. Every beat was on point, as I couldn't stop moving as I listened. Keith's vocals remind me of Andre 3000's voice, and it blends so well with the the rhythm and beat of the song.
I am looking forward to what is in store for Keith because, if this is what he is doing at the age of 20, he will definitely be going places in the future!
