Facebook Messenger is a great way to stay in touch with friends and loved ones. Millions of people worldwide use Messenger to communicate with loved ones daily. According to Facebook, every day, people send more than 2.4 billion messages with emojis on Messenger. We use emojis to express emotion when sometimes words arent enough.
Have you ever asked yourself what the next generation of Messenger emojis might look or even sound like? Well, today, Facebook is introducing an entirely new emoji category, and they call them Soundmojis!

Soundmoji’s are more than just emojis; they’re are emojis with personality. Soundmojis are emojis with short sound clips and or music.

How to use Soundmojis
To use the new Soundemojis, first, check to see if Messenger is up to date. Once you’ve confirmed your app version is current, visit a message thread and click the smiley face icon. Once you’ve selected the smiley face, click on the horn emoji. Now you can start sending your friends and family Soundmojis!
