Apparently a lack of sales concerning FIFA 2013 has scared off publishing powerhouse Electronic Arts from returning the title to the Wii U.
While things had seemed promising at the console’s launch (with titles Mass Effect 3, Madden NFL 13’ and Need for Speed: Most Wanted being released on the console) things have considerably slowed for Nintendo, with EA pulling out of releasing games for the system altogether.
New titles (Mass Effect 4, Battlefield 4, Dragon Age 3) have all been pulled from development on the Wii U claiming “hardware limitations” as the reason why.
EA’s Star Wars games have also been announced to be steering clear of the Wii U, as confirmed by EA themselves.
