Fans of Meg Rosoff’s novel, How I Live Now: it’s time to get excited!

The first trailer has been released for the movie adaptation, starring Saoirse Ronan as Daisy.

The Eagle’s Kevin Macdonald is set to direct the film, which follows American Daisy as she finds peace in the English countryside amidst the threat of a third world war.

The production will also star Tom Holland as Isaac, Anna Chancellor as Aunt Penn and George MacKay as Edmond.

How I Live Now is due out in the UK October 4, and the USA in November.
