All you scaredy-cats out there, I understand that just the mere mention of James Wan may send shivers down your spine, due to his previous ‘creations’ most famously Insidious and Saw. He’s back to doing what he does best, horror films.
His latest venture is supernatural horror The Conjuring. Patrick Wilson seems to have made quite the impression on Wan, after all he was the lead in Insdious and has now secured one of the leads in this new scare-fest. Saying that, I expected the trailer to be scarier than it was! Not completely sold on it at the moment…
But I’ll let you make your mind up on that one…here is the BRAND NEW trailer for The Conjuring:

So I’ll give you a brief synopsis of the film (just in case you’re too scared to hit the ‘play’ button):
Based on the
true
events
of the Warren family (spooky) Roger and Carolyn Perron (Ron Livingston and Lili Taylor) buy a farmhouse in New England to which they move in with their family, only to discover something isn’t quite right, after hearing strange noises and unexplainable disturbances. They call on the services of Ed and Lorrain Warren (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga) two physic investigators to try and ‘sort’ the problem out and all it all seems to go downhill from there in terms of the nuisance bother them!
Whilst talking about the movie at WonderCon, James Wan made all those who were present, aware of the fact this film is not for the faint-hearted, saying the US ratings board has given the film an R-rated classification over the common PG-13, because it’s ‘too scary’.
You like? Will you be making a trip to the movies to see the film, if so The Conjuring hits cinemas 19th July in both the UK and US! (Side Note: Popcorn may not be advisable, it only takes one jump and the stuff is everywhere!!)
