Even though they’ve gone their own ways, Fleetwood Mac has decided to put their differences aside and give the fans what they’ve been begging for, a reunion tour. Beginning on April 4th, their multi-city tour will begin, and fans will be flocking to see the reunion of one of the most legendary if not somewhat notorious bands of all time.

Fleetwood Mac’s greatest success came at a time of intense personal turmoil for all the band members, as Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks had ended their relationship, Christine and John McVie’s divorce, as well as the divorce of Mick Fleetwood from his wife, Jenny. During this internal crisis, they took to song to say everything that needed to be said, and thus was born “Rumours”. “Rumours” garnered critical acclaim and won a Grammy for best album in 1977. To date, “Rumours” has sold over 40 million copies worldwide, making it one of the biggest selling albums of all time.

So will all those old feelings come back to haunt them on stage, or will it ignite the chemistry that makes the shows as dynamic as ever?? Stevie Nicks, in an interview with VH1, says, “All those feelings that you have do come out on stage because you are telling the story when you are singing the songs. So you are, in a way, reenacting what happened. We get to be the people that we were.” Here’s to hoping for fireworks, and not explosions.
