Having already earned herself attention and coverage from the likes of BBC Introducing and a number of independent radio stations across the UK, Francesca Louise who hails from the North-West region of the country, is set to be a name on everyone’s lips soon enough.
Inspired by the likes of Billie Marten, Fleetwood Mac and Tom Odell, among others – she is an artist with and of great taste – Francesca’s music is heavy with emotion and intimacy, but beautiful and warm with melody and instrumentation.
Her new single, “Out Of Sight (Out Of Mind)”, taken from her upcoming EP Melancholic Antidote, and which PopWrapped are delighted to premiere, samples what fans can expect from the collection when it is released later this year and showcases how Francesca is not afraid to be open and honest with herself, regarding a whole range of issues including career, family, ambition and of course, love, in the hopes that such honesty will impact others, encouraging them to look deep inside themselves and think about such aspects of their own lives. As an artist who strongly believes that “music is a powerful tool; it is anecdotal, it is motivation, it is therapy, it is home for so many people,” the work Francesca Louise creates and is ready to share with the world reflect such a statement strongly and proudly.
“Out Of Sight” is the most honest, vulnerable and somewhat poignant of the collection. It touches on thoughts and feelings that so many people who hear the track will no doubt be able to relate to; the insecurities, doubts and concerns that come when you give your heart to someone else, and open up, totally and utterly towards another person.
As to how and why she wrote the track, Francesca says: “I wrote this song as a way of channelling my thoughts and feelings, when I couldn’t make sense of them. Sitting with myself and being honest and open is difficult enough, so I couldn’t imagine doing that with someone else. ‘Out Of Sight (Out Of Mind)’ narrates that battle and is my version of confession.”
