Stephen Fry and Joss Stone will join Stephanie Leonidas, Paul Kaye, and Sophie Kennedy-Clarke in Tomorrow, the first feature film from Martha Pinson. Tomorrow will tell stories and problems suffered by soldiers trying to readjust to life in society while simultaneously coping with traumatic stress disorder, as well as HIV and AIDS.
Pinson is Martin Scorsese’s long time script supervisor, who worked with him on films such as The Aviator, Shutter Island, The Departed, and Hugo. Pinson and Scorsese will still be working together but, this time the highly respected director will be Tomorrow’s executive producer.
“I’m honoured to join Martha in her directorial debut,” said Scorsese. “Through her vision, the great cast, and dedicated team, this story will resonate for years to come.”
The announcement comes during the week of release of Fry’s latest autobiography, More Fool Me, which covers a period in his life when he spent a lot of time using cocaine.
