Social media mogul and pop star, Gabbie Hanna has just dropped her latest single, “Shut Me Up” and obsessed is an understatement. The social media star turned pop star is breaking her way into the pop music scene at full force, and she’s not stopping any time soon.
Gabbie Hanna is a Billboard and iTunes charting musical artist; YouTube influencer; and a two-time New York Times best-selling author and illustrator of her recently released “Dandelion,” which just hit the list at #5 (paperback trade fiction), and “Adultolescence,” released in 2017.
Starting as a web based creator, she amassed more than 20 million followers across her social media platforms as she focused on growing as an artist and author. A native of a small town in Pennsylvania and University of Pittsburgh graduate, Gabbie drove cross-country to pursue her dreams in Los Angeles where she currently resides. She has since crossed over 250 million music streams and one billion views on her YouTube channel.
“Shut Me Up” was written by Hanna (lyrics) and Alina Smith (music), and is the alt/pop artist’s latest musical expression, inspired by her multi-faceted life as a musician, YouTube influencer and New York Times best-selling author.
The song is a preview to the new collection of music that Gabbie will release as a full-length album in 2021, which follows her recent EP release, ”BAD KARMA,” hitting #1 on iTunes’ Pop Album Chart, and subsequent single, “Call Me Crazy,” which you can pre-save HERE.
“My current mission is to bring light to those going through a dark time. I want to show people that any negative situation can be made into a positive and to inspire others to make their tragedies a work of art.” – Gabbie explains about “Shut Me Up”, the follow up to “Call Me Crazy,” which was written to address experiences that she has had in emotionally abusive platonic online relationships – a topic that she feels is rarely discussed.
With an album on the way in 2021, you’re not going to want to miss the huge things that are in store for Gabbie. “Shut Me Up” is available on all of your favorite platforms, now. You can follow her journey on Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
